He is known to stop at nothing to succeed in his goals. Because his shrewd decisions often benefit the majority, campaigns against him rarely hold support.His apprentice is Winston Bautista.

Winston Bautista

He is the youngest son of the extremely wealthy and politically powerful Bautista family. Winston treats the demons and humans he experiments on as tools in his twisted playhouse, and has little regard for human life, morality, or sanctity.He is the inventor of the 'Gene Lock Technology' and 'Interlocutor Serum' which is capable of suppressing the genes of demons and devils—binding them under human control. Despite its immoral applications, it has saved the lives of millions of people from demon attacks.He has little regard for authority and only heeds instructions from his mentor, Alistair Alain.His research specializes in genetics, pathology, and corpse reanimation. He is currently researching pax-energy substitutes.

♑︎ Capricorn*Niven is not a researcher but a 'vital experimental subject' of Winston Bautista and thus exists within a unique category.The first successful gene-lock subject, Winston Bautista successfully engineered a contract demon——called a 'demios'——by manipulating the genes of a demon and an ideal human subject. Once merging the 2 genetic materials, he was able to successfully 'lock' the genes of the demon counterpart, retain a human brain, but discard the drawbacks of a demon biology—such as the need for consuming humans to live.This demios is now under full command of a human, bound by a contract, but capable of exhibiting superhuman/demon-like abilities.Niven is usually stoic, says few words, and acts as a mercenary and personal bodyguard for Winston and BASE007. It is believed that he was once a member the army, but he rarely interacts with others outside of research staff.

Dr. Haley Oculus

40 • 196cm (6'5)A researcher and anthropologist who discovered the paxsera—highly concentrated energy stones from ancient civilizations with clean sources of pax energy. He is also the inventor of the OCULUS ID and Surveillance system used to monitor TCO personnel.Oculus was a close aide and partner of Alistair Alain, up until the demon terror attacks 10 years prior to the story's start.His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Jade Duval

♍︎ VirgoThe human Deputy Director of the Medical Team. A kind and sociable woman, Jade is the first person Steven meets during his orientation at Base007. Her biggest goal is to help others, and find an equitable way for demons and humans to co-exist, in spite of the rising tensions between the two groups. She is a highly trained medical staff/nurse, and previously worked as an anesthesiologist before working for BASE 007.
